Alternative transportation: public trains
As an alternative to the dedicated shuttle bus service, public trains operate between Strigno (Castel Ivano) and Levico Terme stations.
Please note that it takes a 30 minutes uphill walk to reach Castel Ivano from Strigno railway station.
Trains highlighted in green are replaced by bus services operating along the same route. Click here to view the full timetable.
Alternative transportation: public buses
There are also public buses connecting Strigno (Castel Ivano), Ivano Fracena (Castel Ivano), and nearby Borgo Valsugana, where train connections to Levico Terme are available (see the train timetable). A summary timetable for the B406 bus line is provided below. Buses highlighted in purple operate only on Wednesdays. Click here to view the full timetable. Alternatively, the B405 bus line may be used. Its timetable is available here (Borgo Valsugana–Strigno) and here (Strigno–Borgo Valsugana). Please note that the Strigno bus stop and the Strigno train station are located in different places.
Please note that it takes a 20 minutes uphill walk to reach Castel Ivano from Strigno or Ivano Fracena bus stops.
