2026 IEEE WORKSHOP ON COMPLEXITY IN ENGINEERING

Castel Ivano, July 8-10, 2026

COMPENG is a series of international workshops founded in 2010 aimed at providing a forum for experts and professionals working on the latest developments in complexity science and its application in an engineering perspective.

Previous editions of the workshop were held in Rome (Italy 2010), Aachen, (Germany 2012), Barcelona (Spain 2014), Catania (Italy 2016), Florence (Italy 2018, 2022, 2024).

The eighth Workshop on Complexity in Engineering COMPENG 2026 will take place in Castel Ivano (Italy) on July 8-10, 2026.

Authors are encouraged to submit papers on their research on complex systems and engineering considering, but not being limited to, the following topics:
Big Data and data-driven systems
Biophysics / dynamics in biology
Bio-inspired robotics and biomedical engineering
Complex systems and networks
Control in sensor and actuator networks
Communication and Transportation
Ecosystems and climate
Electronic and opto-electronic systems
